Mass for Sri Lanka
We have been saddened of the things happening in Sri Lanka. We hold our Sri Lankan community in our prayer. We are organising a Mass to pray for Sri Lanka. Please see the flyer.
Update on the renovation
There are two phases of the minor renovation. Phase one: Removal of possums. Phase two: cleaning of the inner layer.
GM pest controls has carried out the works of removing the possums and made the church possum free. The company will remove possums free of charge in case they return. The second phase was to clean the inner layer. We could not find a cleaning chemical unless we take down the inner and clean, which is a hard task. So we have agreed to test air quality to check the presence of mould and to paint the inner layer and the sanctuary wall.
Parish Census
Last year by this time I contacted most of the parishioners via telephone and email. Some have moved elsewhere or could not be reached. Its time now to update family details. At the first weekend of next month we will do a census of the parishioners present at the each weekend Mass.
Finance committee
Parish is looking to start a finance committee. Expecting interest from parishioners who are in the finance field. Main objective is to check the income and expenses and find the ways to raise the funds according to the guidelines of the archdiocese.
Trade directory
St. Anne’s Parish is welcoming business/trade to advertise in our website/ newsletter. This trade directory is indented to help the parishioners to know what services and businesses they can engage in and around the area of Seaford. Any business or trade belongs to a parishioner or a parishioner working there can advertise here. Parish will advertise them through website and newsletter free of charge. If businesses/trade want to make a donation, they can do so to our local Vinnies conference.
What we need;
- Trade/ business card details (which includes business/ trade name, logo, address, contact details),
- Less than 50 words of description of business/trade,
- Website link (if available).

Enrolment form go out on 14/15 July, Enrolment Mass on July30/31. The Preparation (information) evening on 10th Aug (Wednesday) 6:30 pm at church. Workbook returns on 11th October. Retreat day 20th October. Celebration day 23rd October.
