OUR PARISH PROJECT
After our Parish vote regarding the Parish Project, I have had two meetings, one with the Archbishop and the Executive Director Administration and also the Director, Property & Infrastructure of the Archdiocese.
The next steps are these: The Archdiocese will do an update and re-valuation of our Parish assets, in order to determine the overall financial viability of the project. This is to ensure that the project we want to embark on will be within the resources of the Parish.
It is anticipated that these valuations could take 6 to 12 months to complete, and an overall development of between 3 to 5 years. The Archdiocese is committed to helping us move forward regarding the future of our Parish. We thank the Archbishop Denis Hart for his commitment to this and we continue to pray for a good outcome. Also thanks from my heart to the Parish committee.
