As part of St. Anne’s Primary School’s social justice initiatives, over the next few weeks at St Anne’s Parish we will also be collecting new bathroom items and then organising bags for the ‘It’s in the bag’ campaign to help disadvantaged women, these are women that have fled domestic violence situations, homeless women and other women struggling.
Over the next few weeks, if you have the opportunity, please pop 1 or 2 bathroom essential items (pads, tampons, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/paste, sunscreen, bandaids etc) in with your regular grocery shop and drop into the tub located in the church foyer. I know that by banding together our parish and school community can make a huge difference to the lives of these women.
