Earlier this year you may have received a copy of ‘Shaping our Post-Pandemic World – An Enquiry for Secondary Students”. This Enquiry, published in June 2021, consisted of “Five sessions to explore: How the COVID-19 Pandemic has affected me, my country and our world; why it should concern me; and what I might be able to do about its consequences”. The Enquiry was published by the Australian Young Christian Students and endorsed by the President of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, Archbishop Mark Coleridge.

This was an opportunity for you to reflect with your youth on the Pandemic and the effects it has had on them, and on us all throughout our country and the world.
We have updated the information and reflective material in the June 2021 edition and have published the attached November 2021 edition.
Due to our further Lockdowns, especially here in Melbourne, there may be a chance now, before the Year finishes, to spend some time reflecting on the Pandemic with your youth.
Please forward this on to any other staff members in your Parish who may have the opportunity to work with young people and who may appreciate the chance to spend this reflective time with their group, as this – yet another – unprecedented year comes to an end. Read the report here
